Yes. You can forward your current number to your Doganswer number, or get a dedicated number from us. No carrier contract, forwarding is a standard feature on every phone. By default we recommend conditional forwarding, the assistant only catches what you don't answer (busy / no answer / out of range); it's a backup, not a replacement. Want every call to go to the assistant? Choose unconditional forwarding. You turn both on and off with a code on your phone.

We use ElevenLabs, the most advanced speech synthesis on the market, which sounds natural, with the right intonation and pauses. You can also add "hello, you're speaking with an assistant" to the greeting if you prefer full transparency. In practice, customers would rather talk and get an answer right away than hit a busy signal or land in voicemail.

The AI will ask the caller to repeat or rephrase, exactly like a person would. If a call goes beyond the assistant's scope, it's noted in the summary so you can call back with full context.

Right now Doganswer handles calls on its own and collects complete information for the summary. Live transfer is on our roadmap, if you need it, let us know.

The agent answers the call, asks for details, books a tentative appointment or collects the request and prepares a ready summary for you. It doesn't complete transactions or orders on your behalf (it won't pay, buy or sign a contract), you always do that yourself, based on the summary.
